Network Security
Network security is the totality of measures taken to protect a network's computers, servers, software, data, and other network resources from unwanted access, use, alteration, or destruction. Network security aims to protect against cyberattacks, malware, data theft, phishing, network traffic monitoring, and other security threats. Network security consists of various components such as hardware, software, protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure the security of all components of a secure network. Network security also includes security mechanisms such as authentication, authorization, and account management to manage who can access network resources and what actions can be performed.
